Background music

This type is music is often played at low volume, hence the background music.
Background music is good for:

• Restrooms

• (high-end) Restaurants

• Receptions

• Waiting areas

• Elevators

This sort of music is usually automatically played by a computer.
Music styles as jazz and classical are most common, sometimes with vocals.

Personal note:

Having some easy listening music in the background takes away some of the awkward silence in open spaces. Adjusting volume is recommended as your place starts to fill up but it has to remain in the background.
