United States
The US has a large number of hospitality establishments across 50 states. Every state however has its own rules and regulations, mostly committed to alcohol intake and gambling.
Let’s have a look at the (estimated) numbers of the United States
-
700.000+ bars, restaurants and nightclubs
-
15.000.000+ employees
Being part of the hospitality family in the US means a big family. 1 in every 20 people is somehow employed in leisure and hospitality.
Bringing them together and being able to share stories, best practices and knowledge starts with DenTheMan24.
Personal note:
Hospitality in US is very different from the rest of the world. Mostly because they are considered ‘tipped workers’ and make a basic wage with no benefits. They are very much dependent on tips. Luckily more states now increased their minimum salary. With the remaining tipping culture, working in the US can make you a more than decent living wage.
Even though we all know the weird shit which happens to us, working in the US is not too bad at all!
Sincerely,
Den The Man
